Stefan Rukavina, offer us here a very interesting release focusing into how Hungarians accepted the indivisibility of Habsburg dominions and gave up Kossuth's policy of complete independence. From such concept Stefan Rukavina, develops here an impressive and explorative opus reflected through 15 compositions, all of them built into the dynamism and eclectic nature converging from Military, darkfolk, maltial classical hymns openening so many channels of understanding into its always interesting music. the album opens with a wonderful nostalgic hymn called "Dio Ci Liberi Degli Irredenti",built into piano elements and percusive tunes. The,comes "In Vollster Eintracht",and its melodic atmopheres bathed through percussive elements and voices crawiling through the whole composition."Why Don't you Wake Up" is the third track...martial militaristic percussive sounds dressed with some whispering voices and keyboard passages. The title album is the 4th one,is another one focusing into such sticking militaristic elements and atmopshres surrounding the whole tunes, and the inclusion of Spoken vices in German tongue. Another track included here is "As Time Has Passed",with impressive work of electro drums and soundcapes carring you to another facet showed by BLEIBURG,the track is intense and penetrating, due how the percussive elements has been gathered together with such enigmatic voices penetrating the sences."Sarajevo" is more a personal himn to Rakuvina, dressed with martial and clasical elements bringing nostalgic moments.Without a doubt a very interesting album, with so many worth moments which you will appreciate so much due how all of them has been built. some other titles are "The War To End All Wars","Trialism","Ungarishe Erdr","carrion Kite" among others...a total of 77:38 minutes which you will never forget!
GREGORIO BARDINI(Ita) & GERSTEIN(Ger)
"Arise Of A Bleeding Rose" Cd 2009
(The Eastern Front)

More than just a collaborative release between two of the most creative exponents of diverse soundscapes, this release is a perfect balance between exciting melancholic feelings and electronic passages, with interesting inclusion of flutes, ocarine, samples among other diverse elements worth to explore through each one of the 10 compositons included here.the shape of Bardini is well known due its amazing works into neo classic stuff through The Eastern Front.and Maurizio Pustianaz, the mastermind behinds GERSTEIN moving his sound between: solo melancholic piano ballads, experimental harsh sounds, synth-guitar powerful extravaganza to the actual electronic semi melodic tracks, creates here a dynamic expressionism starting with "Von Guten Mächten",a psychodelic track with so very interesting elements dressed with flute melodies, percussive electro beats and perfect voices spoken in german, together piano elements, makes of this track a perfect opening due the way as the track is evolving from time to time. "In Gedanken" is a more rhythmic track built into powerfull elements dressed with sutile flute atmopsheres creating a perfect contrast in which melodic elements emerges from nothingness to floats together the enigmatic voices coming within the whole picture of the track."Il guadiano Delta Mutilazole" and " Il Male" are the next tracks,so the first one more sutile in its own movements but still with such electro patterns and sounds complementing perfectly with the voices performed here.the next one show us a more dense facet crawling into ambient atmopsheres with a eastern influence, dressed with piano passages, voices and other interesting elements.Again the rythmic exposition of sounds are present in "Trost Und Freude",bringing us old school electro sounds from 80's."Arise Of A Bleeding Rose" comes with divese melencholic sounds evoking pure nostalgic feelings.the voices are amazing and complementing perfectly with such martial druming sounds.other title tracks are "The Dead Poet","Guten Inspirationen Kaum Gefolgt","Als Ich 13 Jahre Alt War..." and "Il Gioco Delle Parti".without a doubt this release have so many interesting elemnts if you are looking for electro neo folk dressed with dynamism in a perfect way!

AKOUSTIK TIMBRE FREKUENCY (UK)
"Kthonik Korridors" Digipack 2010
(Atf Prod)

Through his deconstructive mutation,an hybryd organism called AKOUSTIK TIMBRE FREKUENCY,was born from the creative mind of Priapus 23,arriving with a monumental release paying tribute to H.P Lovecraft, and entering to the cold desolated corridors of elder ones.so,the result at Kthonik Corridors" is suggestive and hypnotic from start to finish. Opening is "Kult Future Repeated",dismal atmospheres crawling from within, through diverse sound effects mutating all the time. coming next is "kalibration Of Thee Gods" which was created a soundtrack for thee film "Kalibration Of thee gods" and offer us a dark piece, penetrating into dense passages and eerie soundscapes covered with suggestive elements and more yet to discover.then comes, "Date Arkitekt Responses",singing bowls and flute sounds gathering perfectly to create vast enigmatic spaces together, the eerie atmospheres.one of the best tracks included here, which surely will transport you to underworld cold labyrinths. One of aspects which got so much my attention about this release is the dynamism in the use of elements such as pitchforks, machetes, rattlers, among others. "To name his Kaptured Fetish","a degenerated Ancient Other","Noxious Motion Of Direction" are the rest of the compositions,in which you shall experience the hypnotic and magickal experimentations generated by AKOUSTIK TIMBRE FREKUENCY. The Album comes in Greenish digipack. For more information just read the interview with Priapus 23 somewhere in this webpage.

AKA MANAH (Gre)
"Stygian Darkness" Demo 2009
(De Umbris Productions)

Xaakon,is the mastermind behinds this project, coming from Grecce called AKA MANAH,the project was erupted from the black abyss of non existence in the first months of 2006,as black ambience/ritual project. Since then, the music starts to develops itself to the point of releasing "Stygian Darkness" in which Xaakon reveal us part of his enigmatic facet, creating 5 compositions + Outro. The first track is called "The Kneeling Of Enemies" and is built into obscure atmospheres covered by hypnotic vociferations and piano soundscapes, creating a strong composition here. The 2nd one is "Thantifaxath",still dressed with such obscure atmospheres and sutile synth passages arranged with perfect spoken voices elements which complements perfectly with the whole picture of the track. Coming next is "To Fly From The Light",another hypnotic magickal hymn.this time floating into dense dark ambient atmospheres and voices whispering from within. The inclusion of Synth elements enrich so much the composition in general. An important element to mention here is how obscure, raw and well structured is the whole compositions here. "Huntings" emerges through suggestive synthezizer soundscapes and thereal atmospheres, percussive elements, creating a perfect piece. The last track is "Koth" which is focused into synth passages covered with some atmospheres and effects, spoken voices and percussive elements,One of the best pieces included in this demo without a doubt. AKA MANAH rises as a very promising act with a lot of potential and charisma. I higly recommend this one to all those looking for a raw, obscure, primitive ritual music.
